I am WAY pissed.

How bullshit is it that the cutest blogger ever is getting fired and probably shutting down her blog?!

Jessaisms was one of the first blogs I read and has continued to be one of my favorites. She's hot, funny, playful and open and honest in a way few bloggers are.

I'd like to know what kind of assbags canned her and be sure I boycott them forever. I assume DCB and others will have more details than me, but as it stands V is PISSED!

When I basically stopped blogging months ago, my last post included a warning about not being anonymous on a blog. One point was employers or future employers will no doubt dissapprove of SOMETHING. Your blog is your brand in the end, if you put your name and face on it. People need to be more aware of this. Employers now "google" names of prospects and look for their blogs. It's a goldmine of insite into personality. When it comes down to 2 prospects, and one has a video of being shitfaced, guess who gets the job. Sorry for this girl but I'm not surprised. New realities brought on by technology is all.

I'm opening a private dolphin sex club in DC soon, maybe Jessa can come on board.

Sean: That's tricky. I am a pretty big believer in people being able to do what they want on their own time, and I actually thought Jessa never posted anything too outrageous. I mean she's young, she drinks, like sex, but what's wrong with that? However, you are correct that it's a whole new ballgame with access to all that info now.

Fitz: Please, they're worth millions in blackmail alone!

CTJ: Indeed, if it wasn't for Jessa, I would have read about the sweetness that can be shared between a man and a dolphin.

V: In all seriousness, her posts and links towards human/dolphin love were the verification of tales heard from old salts in my sea faring days of long years ago. Dolphins of both sex will actually instigate the act with bipedal swimmers.

But so what anyway, who of us has never had a dog on their leg?

ctj: Do not misunderstand, I thought it was very interesting, and she just had links to stories, I remember the one of the guy who had had one female dolphin partner for many years...I had no idea.

I understood you V, that was me being serious for once here. Yes the dolphin would come back to him and they would later luxuriate in post coital companionship...freaky doesn't do justice.

Jessa would also post on dolphins sometimes brutal rapes and the humping of PVC pipes in her presence.

Only your guest blogger of late can compare to this imo.

I agree, she had a really unique perspective and seemed to be passionate about many interesting things (even dolphin rape) that many of us would never have even thought of.

It's all part of the bigger privacy debate. Unfortunately, I don't think much of that will be going around in ten years or so. The frog has been boiling for the last 25 years or so and is about to croak. But you know what? It's part of our evolution, and there's not much we can do about it. Sounds strange, but I think it's accurate.

Dolphin love does not surprise me - Human-chimp hybrids are nothing new to DC, at least since 2001.

Gotta agree with Sean on this....You can't be talking about corporate goodies on your blog and not expect some form of retaliation...Its just all about PR control and managing the image at ALL TIMES....Blog, but make a choice to either keep your job seperate or your identity concealed......

V-I am with a fairly new blogger and having written her a love letter yesterday thanking her for everything--it sucks...She was the first big big well known blogger to link me to her and she always made me think or laugh (as do you darling-which is why I heart you too)....there are very few female bloggers that I really respect...sad to see one of them have to go...BUT alas, she may be back...

Male and female oysters of the waters of the Chesapeake never meet; rather, each sends a milky substance into the water where sperm meets egg. The young oyster (called a "spat") grows a minute shell and searches for a hard base to attach itself to.

I was her hard base and I don't regret one minute of it.
